Middle School Matters. A report for The Campagna Center, Alexandria VA, on options for after school care. Published in 2002.

Major research, writing and editing activities for the National Science Foundation, National Research Council, National Foundation for the Improvement of Education, Council on Environmental Quality, The McKenzie Group, and CORD. Program Manager for Science, Education and Transportation for the Office of Technology Assessment (OTA), U.S. Congress, 1984-1994.
Created new program, hired and fired staff, supervised contractors, staff and advisory groups. Responsible for the production of 35 major reports on technology and policy issues. Introduced education as an agency topic, initiated production of videos to bring information to a wider audience. presented Congressional testimony, staff briefings and major speeches. Substantive expertise includes science policy, education and minority education.
